Our mission is to enhance the life of each person with intellectual/developmental disabilities towards fulfillment of their life goals through choice and support in homes, employment and community activities. Job Overview Our Day Program Director of 25 years is ready to retire and we are looking for an energetic and compassionate person to take over his position in the oversight and day-to-day operations of our day program. This position includes providing leadership, management, and quality assurance over our day habilitation, community connection, and employment services. The ideal candidate will ensure that the services provided are person-centered while promoting independence, community inclusion, and meaning engagement while maintaining compliance with regulatory and funding requirements.
Responsibilities Program Leadership:
Oversee the daily operations of the day program, ensuring a safe, supportive, and engaging environment; develop and implement program goals and activities that align with person-centered plans; monitor program effectiveness and improve service qualityStaff Supervision & Development:
Recruit, hire, train, and supervise staff; provide ongoing coaching and performance evaluationsRegulatory Compliance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure compliance with all applicable HCBS, Medicaid waiver, employment, health and safety, and labor regulationsBudget & Resource Management:
Assist in the development and management of the day program budgetHealth & Safety:
Maintain a safe environment in compliance with state regulations; oversee emergency drillsFamily & Stakeholder Engagement:
Communicate regularly with families, guardians, case managers, and external partners; participate in IDT meetings; build community partnerships to expand opportunities for participants Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in human services, Business Administration or a related field
- Strong leadership and team management skills with a minimum of three years of supervisory experience
- Familiarity with Colorado HCBS regulations
- Knowledge of person-centered practices and positive behavioral supports
- Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual communication platforms
- Flexibility in work schedule
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
- Ability to assist in lifting and transferring of participants
- Valid Colorado driver's license, reliable vehicle and auto insurance Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Medicaid billing systems and Therap
- Completion of a Colorado state approved Supported Employment training course or one year of successful experience in employment counseling, job placement, job coaching or vocational rehabilitation
Pay:
$65,000.00 - $68,000.00 per yearBenefits:
