Job Requirements Aurora, CO Top Secret CI Polygraph Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Position is contingent upon contract award As the Deputy Program Manager , you will support the overall leadership, direction, and execution of large-scale, complex programs and projects within a mission-focused operational environment. Working closely with the Program Manager, this role assists in overseeing daily operations, coordinating cross-functional teams, managing program activities, and ensuring successful delivery of program objectives related to cost, schedule, scope, risk, and performance. The ideal candidate possesses strong organizational and leadership skills, operational awareness, and experience supporting Intelligence Community (IC) or similarly complex environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist the Program Manager in overseeing enterprise-level programs and projects of significant size, scope, and complexity. Support the development and maintenance of integrated master schedules, project plans, risk registers, and performance metrics. Apply project management principles and methodologies to support management of cost, schedule, scope, quality, risk, and deliverables. Coordinate and help sustain high-performing integrated teams across operational and functional areas. Support 24x7 operational environments, ensuring continuity of mission-critical activities and operational responsiveness. Assist in implementing process improvement initiatives using established process improvement models and methodologies. Serve as a liaison between customers, stakeholders, operational personnel, and leadership to ensure high-quality customer service and mission success. Support planning, coordination, and execution of exercises, crisis management activities, and special events. Prepare program status reports, executive briefings, meeting materials, and operational updates. Track program risks, issues, and action items, and assist in developing mitigation strategies and corrective actions. Coordinate communication and collaboration among government, contractor, and operational stakeholders. Ensure compliance with organizational policies, operational procedures, and security requirements. Act on behalf of the Program Manager in their absence, as required.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in related field. Minimum of ten (10) years of experience supporting or managing programs and/or projects of similar size, scope, and complexity.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent. Experience supporting federal government, defense, or Intelligence Community programs. Experience with Agile, Lean, ITIL, or other process improvement frameworks. Experience coordinating across multiple organizations or agencies. Active security clearance or ability to obtain and maintain required clearance.KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
Knowledge of process improvement models and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience providing high-quality customer service in complex operational environments. Experience supporting and contributing to high-performing integrated teams. Familiarity with Intelligence Community (IC) culture, operational environments, and stakeholder engagement practices. Experience supporting 24x7 operational environments and mission-critical operations. Proficient knowledge and practical experience in project management concepts and methodologies related to: Cost Schedule Scope Risk Deliverables Program metrics and reporting Knowledge and experience related to exercise planning, crisis management policies, and support for special events. Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to support executive-level briefings and operational coordination. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.SECURITY CLEARANCE
