Now Hiring for the 2026-2027 School Year! Head Coach (Part-Time)

On-Site at School-Based Program - Montessori School of Evergreen -
Evergreen, CO Reports To:
Area Director Schedule :
Part-Time (Before & After School, School Breaks, and Summer Programs)
Monday-Friday:
2:30PM-5
PM Pay:
$21-27/hour, based on experience Position Overview The Head Coach serves as the leader of an after-school program site, creating a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children. This hands-on leadership role combines youth development, staff supervision, program operations, and relationship building with families and school partners. The ideal candidate is energetic, organized, and passionate about helping children build confidence, resilience, and life skills. Key Responsibilities Program Leadership Lead daily program operations and ensure a positive experience for students. Facilitate engaging enrichment, academic support, recreation, and character-building activities. Maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming program environment. Manage student attendance, transitions, and dismissal procedures. Team Development Supervise and support site staff. Provide coaching, training, and ongoing feedback to team members. Lead staff meetings and promote a positive team culture. Family & School Partnerships Build strong relationships with students, families, and school personnel. Communicate program updates, successes, and student needs. Represent the organization professionally within the school community. Safety & Compliance Ensure compliance with state licensing regulations and company policies. Maintain accurate program records and documentation. Respond appropriately to incidents, emergencies, and behavioral concerns. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of leadership experience in education, childcare, youth development, recreation, or a related field. Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead staff while actively engaging with children. CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Experience working in Montessori schools is a significant plus
State Requirements:
21 years old or older and must meet one of the following: Bachelor's Degree or higher in Education or related field Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education and 1 year of experience working in ECE 30 semester credit hours in approved ECE subject areas + 6 months (910 hrs) experience Early Childhood Professional Credential - Level 3 or higher Physical Requirements Ability to actively participate in indoor and outdoor activities.
