B Program Coordinator:
The 340b program coordinator supports pharmacy services by maintaining compliance with all 340b regulations and by ensuring medication rebates are submitted in timely manner and rebates are received.
Position Summary:
With a Quality, Customer First, and Compassionate approach, The 340B Program Coordinator will:

Preform audits on prescriptions dispensed and clinical administered drugs administered to ensure compliance with 340b regulations.

Works with our contract pharmacies to ensure we are following all regulations and requirements outlined on the contract and by the 340b program.

Assist/preform all insurance pharmacy audits.

Order all Clinical administered drugs for Sunrise clinics and maintain the formulary. Help maintain Flexscan drug files.

Assist with troubleshooting any Flexscan related error/issue that clinic staff encounter.

Monitor and fix any errors on the Flexscan error log.

Submit required pharmacy data to Beacon 340b rebate platform and monitor for any error/rejected claims.

Ensure Sunrise is receiving all rebate payments in a timely manner.

Manage MFP medication inventories.

Assists health care providers and patients by greeting them in person and by phone, answering questions and requests, referring inquiries to the pharmacist.

Uses appropriate telephone skills and responds to all calls that do not require the personal attention of a pharmacist. Assists patients as they drop off prescriptions.

Processes prescriptions by entering patient data, insurance, and prescription information into a computer. Completes transaction upon pick up with consideration of patients needs.

Collects copays and counsels patients on account balances. Inputs prescription/refills and creates/updates patient profiles and third-party setups accurately. Enters all data into computer for all medical/dental patients requesting assistance with medications. Advocates for patient when barriers to receiving medication are encountered. Informs patients when delays are encountered with filling their prescription. Demonstrates knowledge of programs offered by Sunrise Community Health.

Maintains pharmacy inventory by checking pharmaceutical stock to determine inventory level, anticipating needed medications and supplies, placing, and expediting orders, verifying receipt of order, putting order away accurately, and removing outdated drugs.

Organizes medications for pharmacist to dispense by reading medication orders and prescriptions, preparing labels, calculating quantities, assembling intravenous solutions and other pharmaceutical therapies.

Completes credit returns and manual return process for Colorado Medicaid DME. Follows up with pharmacy assistance programs approval or denial process.

Determines and explains eligibility status for financial programs associated with pharmacy programs. Compiles monthly data of pharmaceutical programs. Prepares reports by collecting and summarizing information. Complies with all 340B Policies and Procedures when dispensing medications. Monitor for text messages for the grab and go, complete the transaction and run the prescription out to the patients car.

Administer vaccine and appropriately document.

Must complete 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years either online or by attending workshops.

Assist in the PAS department as needed.

Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

Associates Degree in Pharmaceutical Technology preferred. 1-2 years experience as a Pharmacy Technician, or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience. Pharmacy Technician certificate required.
