Assessment 40 hours for a few weeks and then 2-3 days per week
Responsibilities:
Main responsibilities: Review planning process and identify bottlenecks and opportunities to reduce leadtime. Perform root cause analysis on delays and identify potential solutions to fix the issues Develop and communicate weekly and daily manufacturing schedule to ensure delivery on time. Create and maintain Work In Process (WIP) reports. Statusing/expediting of parts through repair cycle. Host and set-up meetings with supplier and customer. Provide technical support and guidance when necessary Support special treatment process qualification and ensure steps are followed and requirements are met. Be the main focal between the supplier and the customer Provide a critical view on process and technical requirements and suggest new ways potential ways of working
Requirements:
Minimum of 7 years experience in aerospace or energy gas turbine Experience in operations management and/or program management Experience with special process qualification process Experience in lean and continuous improvement Experience in a supervisor/line management role will be considered an asset Experience in problem solving and root cause analysis Experience using the problem solving methodologies and tools: 8D, PDCA, 5 Whys, Ishikawa, Poka Yoke, etc. Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite products. A certain degree of creativity and flexibility is required. Ability to indluence and gain buy-in in challenging situations with a positive attitude. Ability to communicate at all level of organisation Expert (role model) that can work with no supervision. Open mind and creativity to bring new ideas and questions current methodology and requirement.
