Job Description

at State of Delaware in Dover, Delaware, United States Job Description The position will serve as the Health Program Coordinator for the Tobacco Prevention and Control Program. The incumbent will prepare budgets along with ensuring procurement of equipment, supplies, and contractual services as needed; forecast for program operations and maintain records. In addition, the position will provide assistance with outreach, evaluation and coordination of activities to meet goals and objectives of the program and ensure compliance with federal and state guidelines. JOB REQUIREMENTS
for Health Program Coordinator Applicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas: Six months experience in program monitoring such as monitoring program activities and recommending alternatives, improvements, courses of action, and other changes based on findings. Six months experience in screening and detecting communicable or chronic diseases/health hazards to control the spread of diseases/hazards. Six months experience in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures. Six months experience in narrative report writing. Knowledge of etiology of communicable or chronic diseases/health hazards. Possession of a valid Driver's License (not suspended, revoked or cancelled, or disqualified from driving).
