Qualifications Current junior, senior or graduate student at an accredited college or university in a related Bachelor's or Master's degree program. Key Responsibilities The City of Cape Coral Internship Program is designed to provide an opportunity for select students to gain hands-on experience, strengthen their knowledge, skills, and abilities. This program is specifically structured to focus on the professional development of the intern and to better prepare them for future employment opportunities and a successful transition into the related field. This individual will assist with various projects and tasks, assist in the identification of issues/problems, researches and gathers data, analyzes alternatives, and implements plans. Communicates with professionals, City staff, and the public. Has general knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel) and related equipment or electronic devices.
