Youth Program Coordinator Department:
Health System Shared Services | Healthy Community Center The Youth Program Coordinator is responsible for developing, implementing, and evaluating youth‑focused programs that support access to physical, emotional, and social well‑being resources for youth in the Near East Side and the broader Columbus, Ohio community. Community engagement, relationship building, experience supporting youth‑focused programming, and familiarity with basic program evaluation are key assets for this position. The Youth Program Coordinator develops and maintains community partnerships to support outreach efforts that connect youth in the Near East Side and the broader Columbus community with the Healthy Community Center, expanding access to programs that build leadership skills and support physical, mental, and social well‑being. This role is responsible for the development, implementation, coordination, and evaluation of youth‑focused programming at the Healthy Community Center, including youth volunteer training and coordination activities. The Youth Program Coordinator works both independently and collaboratively within a team‑based environment and completes required monthly and quarterly reports. The Youth Program Coordinator demonstrates strong communication skills, facilitates workshops, and represents the Healthy Community Center at community meetings, events, and outreach activities. This position reports to the Senior Community Population Health Coordinator. This role demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with youth, families, community partners, and interdisciplinary staff. Minimum Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 0 years of relevant experience required. 0-2 years of relevant experience preferred.
