Position Overview Are you a passionate, organized leader who wants to do work that truly matters? Do you want to spend your career improving the lives of real people. We are looking for a Program Manager who will lead our Older Adults Home Modification Program (OAHMP) — a federally funded initiative that helps low-income seniors safely stay in their homes through critical modifications. Think wheelchair ramps, grab bars, safer bathrooms, and accessible entrances. Real changes. Real lives.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the Program — Own It End to End Oversee the full lifecycle of participant services — from referral and screening to completed home modifications Monitor quarterly goals, manage timelines, and ensure every project gets done right Coordinate field activities across Miami-Dade with contractors, occupational therapists, and community partners Lead Your Team Supervise an Occupational Therapist and CAP Specialist Foster a collaborative, accountable, and participant-centered culture Be the connector between internal teams and external stakeholders Manage Compliance & Reporting Ensure full compliance with HUD regulations and federal grant requirements Maintain participant files, eligibility documentation, and environmental compliance records Prepare quarterly reports and manage program data in Excel and required databases
Required Qualifications:
3-5 years of program management experience — nonprofit, government, housing, or healthcare Experience managing programs with compliance or reporting requirements Supervisory or team leadership experience — you've led people before Intermediate to advanced Excel skills — you're comfortable with reporting and data tracking Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently A passion for serving elderly or low-income communities Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Social Work, Healthcare, Nonprofit Management, or related field (Master's preferred)
Bonus Points For:
HUD or federal grant compliance experience (CDBG, HOME, or similar) Bilingual English/Spanish — our senior population is largely Spanish-speaking Experience coordinating contractors or field-based home modification projects Miami-Dade community knowledge and existing relationships

Salary Range:
$60,000 - $68,000 annually 11 Federal Holidays | Vacation Days | Sick Days Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Eligible Employer Annual HUD Program Management Training — fully paid travel Benefits expansion in progress: medical and retirement plans being explored
