Job Description
Position Summary The Coordinator- Social Services provides clinical, administrative, and strategic oversight for Community Rightful Center's integrated mental health and substance use services. This role ensures clinical excellence, regulatory compliance, audit readiness, billing integrity, and program growth across multiple federally, state, and county-funded initiatives. The Coordinator serves as CRC's clinical authority of record, overseeing service delivery models, supervising clinical staff and interns, coordinating audits, documentation, supporting grant development, and expanding mental health programming aligned with community needs and funding priorities. Core Responsibilities Program Management & Oversight
- Coordinate daily operations of substance abuse program to ensure that employee tasks align with grant contractual terms.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations (e.g., DCF, accreditation, HIPAA).
- Monitor program performance and service delivery to ensure quality care for staff and achieve measurable outcomes.
- Develop and implement program policies, procedures, and workflows as needed and approved by board. Clinical & Staff Supervision
- Provide supervision and support to clinical and support staff, ensuring adherence to best practices on a monthly or weekly basis as needed for staff and interns.
- Assist with staff training, onboarding, and professional development as given by HR.
- Conduct regular team meetings and case consultations on a monthly basis.
- When needed, please attend a training meeting with the Miami staff. Client Care Coordination
- Ensure appropriate intake, assessment, and treatment planning processes are followed by reviewing all intake, treatment, and discharge forms.
- Monitor client progress, discharge planning, and continuity of care and check for client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with external providers, referral sources, and community partners and attend community events as needed. Participate in social events when needed to represent CRC Compliance & Quality Assurance
- Conduct internal audits of clinical documentation and service delivery.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of records, including treatment plans and progress notes.
- Prepare for audits, licensing reviews, and accreditation processes. Administrative Duties
- Manage program budgets, reporting, and data tracking as required.
- Oversee scheduling, staffing coverage, and program logistics.
- Maintain communication with leadership regarding program performance and needs.
Service Pathway Development:
- Mental health case management/ mental health and substance support services
- Behavioral Health & Case Management for the Miami office
- Participant in the grant writing process by sharing her input during the brainstorming process.
- Conduct grant interviews with other CRC staff when we apply for mental/ substance abuse grants
