Employment Type:
Full-Time, Hourly, Non-Exempt Goodwill Southwest Florida is seeking a Program Coordinator for our Pathways to Opportunity program . The Program Coordinator is responsible for the overall reporting system of supports and services provided to the individuals served at the Adult Day Training site. The ideal candidate brings compassion, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform work while supporting Goodwill's mission of creating opportunities and strengthening the community.
Key Responsibilities:
Case management, reporting, manages participant files, and assures accurate and timely record keeping. Assures that all aspects of the program of services and supports are developed, implemented, coordinated and monitored to the highest degree possible. Interact with external sources to increase community opportunities and integration for program participants. Complete all required meetings and reports to meet Medicaid Waiver requirements for Life Skills Development Level 3 services. Perform all of the responsibilities and duties of the Program Instructors as needed.
Qualifications:
Associates degree from an accredited college in a related field or an acceptable combination of education and experience. Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Effective judgment for use in interviewing, evaluating and working with people. Writing and vocabulary skills. Documentation of accurate case management notes. Familiarity with Americans with Disabilities Act, Agency for Persons with Disabilities, Division of Vocational Rehabilitation, Rehabilitation Technologies and Instructional Techniques. Knowledge of Life Skills Development 3 service outlined in the Developmental Disabilities Medicaid Waiver Handbooks, Delmarva standards, and when applicable CARF standards. Why Goodwill?
