Job Description:
Manages information flow with team, vendors, and others to determine next steps, seek clarification, and communicate approvals. Maintains confidential records and files related to research, programs, and projects. Manages projects and related tasks as assigned by the Executive Director/Director, ensuring deadlines are met. Coordinates and has direct responsibility for specific tasks related to programs or functions. Develops networks among religious, community, hospitals, and other organizations. Engages in research, prepares comprehensive reports, recommends, and implements successful strategies. Gathers and maintains data, assists in preparing reports using various computer software, and prepares statistics on program participation, marketing responses, budget, and evaluations. Plans events and conferences by arranging facilities, negotiating with hotels, caterers, and vendors, and managing event budgets. Provides necessary logistics for meetings, including agendas, facilities, catering, accommodations, and technical equipment. Prepares expense reports for Executive Director/Director and ensures processing. Maintains Executive Director's/Director's calendars and department inventory of office supplies and equipment. Drafts, edits, and prepares correspondence, reports, and other material using word processing, spreadsheets, and databases. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to concentrate on multiple projects simultaneously and re-establish priorities as necessary. Ability to effectively respond to time-sensitive issues and meet deadlines [Required]
  • Initiative and ability to work independently (self-direction) while thriving in a setting requiring collaboration and teamwork for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Attention to detail that ensures follow-through on all initiatives implemented, and all projects undertaken [Required]
Windows Applications:
Microsoft Outlook and other Office 365 applications (EndNote, Qualtrics) [Required]
  • Knowledge of project management programs such as SharePoint [Required]
Education:
  • Bachelor's [Preferred]
