Job Description

As the Program Manager , you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the Air Force Contract Augmentation Program (AFCAP), ensuring successful execution of contingency, logistics, infrastructure, and operational support services. This role serves as the primary point of contact between government representatives, contractors, subcontractors, and internal leadership teams to ensure contract requirements, mission objectives, and performance standards are achieved efficiently and in compliance with federal regulations. The Program Manager directs day-to-day operations of complex programs that may include base operations support, life support services, construction management/engineering, logistics coordination, transportation, supply chain oversight, and emergency response operations in overseas environments. Responsibilities include managing program budgets, schedules, staffing plans, subcontractor performance, risk mitigation strategies, and quality assurance initiatives while ensuring adherence to safety, security, and contractual requirements.
KEY RESPPONSIBILITIES
Serve as the program leader with full accountability for execution and performance across multiple AFCAP task orders in CENTCOM. Lead integrated service delivery operations, including life support, logistics, engineering, operations, and maintenance functions. Oversee large-scale support operations such as: Dining facility operations, Power generation and utilities, Billeting and life support services, Motor pool and fleet operations, Facilities and infrastructure maintenance, Supply chain and material management, including food, fuel, and critical supplies. Ensure all program activities meet contractual requirements, operational objectives, quality standards, and customer expectations. Manage geographically dispersed teams across austere and OCONUS environments, driving accountability, communication, and operational alignment. Build and maintain strong relationships with senior U.S. Government and military stakeholders, providing program oversight, reporting, and strategic guidance. Oversee compliance with safety, environmental, and operational standards in high-risk environments. Support task order growth and expansion efforts, including small construction, infrastructure, and engineering-related projects. Identify operational risks and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency, readiness, and mission effectiveness. Coordinate closely with corporate leadership on staffing, financial performance, resource planning, and program execution strategies.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or a related field from an accredited university. 10+ years of experience in management roles of similar scope, scale, and complexity within government or expeditionary programs. Demonstrated experience managing large, complex operations in austere or OCONUS environments. Proven personnel leadership experience with strong oral and written communication skills. Ability to operate effectively in high-pressure, mission-critical environments.
LOCATION / TRAVEL
Based in Panama City or Melbourne, Florida with willingness to travel as needed.
