Program Specialist (Quality Assurance & Compliance) Area Agency on Agency of Broward County Sunrise, FL Job Details Full-time $22.60 - $27.00 an hour 21 hours ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance 403(b) Life insurance Qualifications Customer service Driver's License Bachelor's degree Attention to detail Accounting Organizational skills Full Job Description The Area Agency on Aging of Broward County is seeking a detail‑oriented and mission‑driven Program Specialist to support quality assurance, compliance, and provider performance across aging‑service programs. If you enjoy data accuracy, provider coordination, and strengthening community services, this role is a great fit. AAABC is a nonprofit organization dedicated to serving Broward County residents age 60 and older. AAABC plans, develops, coordinates, and evaluates programs; funds essential services; and advocates on behalf of older adults, adults with disabilities (18+), their families, and caregivers. What You'll Do Run and review monthly programmatic reports for accuracy and completeness. Provide technical assistance to service providers and ensure guideline compliance. Conduct quarterly file and unit reviews , ensuring required percentages are met. Lead annual monitoring (virtual or on‑site) of assigned providers. Track contract spend‑out , surplus/deficit status, and follow up on variances. Review provider applications and comment on proposed services and units. Support fundraising activities , including sponsor outreach, event logistics, and guest coordination. What You Bring Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in aging services, mental health, accounting, or customer service. Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office , especially Excel. Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑through skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with providers and internal teams.
