Job Description

New Program Manager Alpharetta, Georgia, United States Apply Orion Innovation is a premier, award-winning, global business and technology services firm. We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with a strong background in the banking and financial services domain , specializing in large-scale transformation initiatives . The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex programs, leading cross-functional teams, and driving strategic change across business and technology landscapes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end transformation programs within the banking domain (e.g., digital transformation, core banking modernization, regulatory initiatives). Oversee large, cross-functional teams including business consultants, architects, developers, QA, and external vendors. Drive program governance , including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder communication. Collaborate with senior leadership and business stakeholders to define program vision, roadmap, and success metrics. Ensure alignment between business objectives and technology delivery . Manage budgets, timelines, and resource allocation across multiple workstreams. Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery. Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement . Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance requirements in banking. Drive adoption of Agile methodologies as appropriate. Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Technology, or related field. 10+ years of experience in program/project management , with at least 5+ years in the banking/financial services sector . Strong development experience and background Strong experience managing large-scale transformation programs (e.g., digital banking, payments, lending platforms, core systems). Proven ability to lead large teams (50+ members) across multiple geographies. Experience working with both technical teams and consulting stakeholders . Deep understanding of banking processes (Retail, Corporate, Payments, Risk, Compliance, etc.). Strong knowledge of program governance frameworks and delivery methodologies . Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills . Preferred Skills Experience with core banking platforms Certifications such as PMP, PgMP, SAFe Exposure to cloud transformation, data platforms, or fintech integrations . Strong consulting background is a plus. Ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment .
