Summary We are seeking a dedicated Program Facilitator to join our team at the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and implementing programs that support our mission of providing hope and empowerment to those in need. This position plays a vital part in enhancing the lives of individuals within our community.

Facilitation Skills:
Ability to lead group discussions, workshops, and other activities.

Understanding and respect for diverse backgrounds and experiences.
Adaptability and Flexibility:
Ability to adjust plans and activities as needed.
Strong Organizational Skills:
Ability to effectively plan, implement, and evaluate programs.
Problem-Solving Skills:
Ability to identify and address challenges in program delivery.
Knowledge of relevant topics:
Understanding of issues faced by women, such as substance abuse, domestic violence, and childhood trauma. Working in an evangelical Christian environment while leading women to the way, truth, and life.
Job Responsibilities:
Program Planning and Delivery:
- Develop and implement engaging faith-based classes and activities aligned with program goals, focusing on self-management, relationship building, and conflict resolution.
- Ensuring residents receive biblically sound teachings necessary for their independence.
- Facilitate group discussions, workshops, and other interactive activities to promote learning and engagement.
- Adapt programs and activities to meet the unique needs of residents.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and program outcomes.
- Create and deliver trauma-informed programming.
Building Relationships and Fostering Community:
- Build strong rapport and trust with residents.
- Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment where women feel comfortable sharing their experiences and learning.
- Actively listen to participants' needs and concerns. Report these to the Women's Director.
- Encourage participation and build a sense of community among participants.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with other staff, volunteers, and community partners.
- Maintain effective communication with residents and program team.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development activities.
Evaluation and Reporting:
- Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, identifying areas for improvement.
- Prepare accurate and timely reports on program activities and outcomes.
- Contribute to program development and improvement.
