Job Description

Company Overview Since 1952, the Rescue Mission of Middle Georgia has been a refuge of hope for neighbors who find themselves in the darkest of circumstances: addictions, domestic violence, sexual abuse, poverty, homelessness, and other life-challenging issues. Through the love of God and the support of our community , we provide life-changing care that offers men and women the chance for personal and spiritual wholeness. Job Duties Oversees and develops programs that lead women and children to life change, with a focus on Grace-centered recovery. Promotes staff leadership, community partnerships, and ensures every person hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Stays current on trauma-informed care and mission-aligned services that meet needs and foster growth. Key duties include creating faith-based programs, managing the team, and advocating for women and children. Oversee and assign staff to manage the intake applications and orientation for all candidates in the Women's Program. Oversee and facilitate classes and Bible studies for women, ensuring they receive biblically sound teachings necessary for their independence. Assign staff to lead these classes and periodically review their performance to ensure strong leadership. Supervise the day-to-day operations of the Women's Division to ensure the program runs smoothly. Assign duties to the team as necessary. n Oversee the Peer Support team, including scheduling meetings. Ensure that medications are dispensed to clients in the Women's Division in accordance with established policies and procedures. Manages time wisely and efficiently completes job duties on time. Ensures all program staff answer emails and phone calls daily, preventing any unanswered calls or emails for more than 24 hours. Provide biblical counseling to clients in the Women's Division. Develop, teach, and coordinate programs aimed at facilitating the spiritual, emotional, educational, and financial growth of women preparing for independence. Oversee and coordinate weekly program meetings to review client progress and address any issues, ensuring that all staff are informed about each client's status in the program. Communicate any issues to the management team as necessary. Ensure that random drug tests are conducted. Supervise all areas of the Women's Division staff, providing training and guidance as needed. Recruit, train, monitor, and supervise all volunteers within the Women's Division. Ensure that all volunteers and staff members have completed Ministry Safe training before interacting with children in the Mission. Ensure that residents receive prompt orientation. Oversee appointments for women and children to ensure all needs are met. Work directly with the social services team to ensure appointments are scheduled properly. Manage transportation logistics for women clients, including routine maintenance of vehicles. Coordinate with the Logistics Coordinator for any necessary repairs. Make decisions in accordance with policy, with input from the VP of Programs and/or other program directors, regarding client programming, dismissal, disciplinary actions, rewards, training, and graduation of clients. Implement all policies of RMMG as approved by the Board of Directors. Continuously evaluate program effectiveness and prepare reports to demonstrate impact and ensure responsiveness to client needs. As needed, assist with all RMMG events, programs, and ministries, along with any other duties assigned by the CEO. Ensure the safety of all residents in the program, communicating any safety concerns or issues to management. Conduct a monthly walkthrough of all buildings within the Women's Program to ensure that maintenance and repair needs are addressed Recognize work priorities and strive to meet the pastoral needs of all clients Ensure DFCS-mandated reporting is completed within 24 hours of receiving any neglect reports. Discuss with the VP of Operations before preparing the report. Maintain proper records of all incident reports and inform VP of Operations of incidents requiring medical treatment before taking them for treatment, unless it is an emergency. In this case, call 911 and then follow the reporting guidelines. Promotes a positive public image of RMMG to the community. Maintains client confidentiality as well as maintaining the Mission's confidentiality.
