This role ensures legal and regulatory compliance, maintains staff safety standards through consistent training, and oversees the financial and resource efficiency of the district's Safety Care program.
Primary Responsibilities Trainer Recertification Logistics:
Coordinate all training for trainers through Safety Care, including establishing contact in January to set annual recertification dates.
Specialist Training Scheduling:
Manage the scheduling of initial (2-day) and annual recertification (1-day) training for specialist team members, including administrators, Engagement Specialists, SEBH, SEI, teachers, and paras.
Material Management:
Secure training locations (ELSC or GWAEA) and ensure rooms meet requirements (8001000 sq ft). Manage all materials, including Trainee Agreements, manuals, agendas, and tests for both participants and trainers.
Record-Keeping:
Maintain and update trainer certifications and specialist membership spreadsheets, collaborating with building principals to ensure team compliance.
Program Administration:
Act as the primary payroll contact for the program. Coordinate attendance, back-up trainers, and attendee make-up plans. Manage predictability and budgeting for the program. Stipend $2000/year
