Job Title:
Connections Coordinator.
Position Type:
Full-Time, 40 hours per week.
Schedule:
Monday•Friday from 8:00 am•5:00 pm.
Pay Range:
$24.27•$26.71 hourly depending on education and experience.
Position Goal:
The Connections Coordinator serves as a key liaison between the food bank and the communities that we serve across our seven-county service area. This team member actively engages individuals in community settings such as food pantries, community centers, and partner organizations to connect them with vital services and resources that improve stability and well-being. The Connections Coordinator provides direct in-person support by assessing the needs of a neighbor through basic needs assessment and mental health screening. From the results of those assessments, this team member helps neighbors access programs such as housing assistance, energy assistance, SNAP benefits, and other essential resources. Education and/or Experience Bachelor's Degree with one year of experience. Associate's Degree with three years of experience. High School Diploma with five years of related experience, preferably in a food pantry, operations, communication, human services or related field. Bilingual is a plus but not required. Conditions of Employment Valid Driver's License. Valid Car Insurance. Reliable transportation for on-the-job use. Food Safety and Civil Rights Training certification within 30 days of employment.
