Here at Community Connections, Inc., we work with Developmentally and Intellectually disabled adults, in their residences and in the community. We are currently hiring for our Vocational Rehabilitation program, aka. Job Coaching. Our Job Coaching program assists Adults, who have DD or ID, to find employment, then pairs them with a coach to support and help keep them on task. It is difficult to find employers who are willing to hire people with disabilities, so when we do, we want to help them keep their job and succeed! Your role is vital to our participant's success. We are by their side to help with independence, self advocacy, motivation and focus. Your job will be to remind them of job duties, steps, procedures and to be available as support. There may be moments that require you to be a mediator for your participant and their manager. You will also have time to get to know them, crack jokes, talk about interests and learn about daily struggles while thinking of ways to help them. • First Aid and CPR - we can certify you
• 18+ yrs old
