Bilingual Program Specialist

Tazwood Community Services, Inc. (TCSI) is looking for a dedicated Bilingual Program Specialist to join our Program Services team! Preferred second language would be French or Spanish, but open to other languages. If you're passionate about helping individuals and families access essential community resources, this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact every day.

What You'll Do:

In this role, you'll support customers through the application process for agency programs, provide referrals to additional services, and carry out important administrative and data entry tasks. You'll be a key connection point for individuals seeking assistance and guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist customers with program applications and eligibility questions Provide outreach and program-related information to the community Offer referrals for services such as housing, weatherization, and job training Complete clerical tasks including scheduling, filing, mailing, and data entry Attend trainings and meetings to stay current on program standards You're a

✔ A high school diploma (or equivalent) ✔ 3+ years of experience in social services, customer service, or office/clerical work ✔ Strong communication and problem-solving skills ✔ The ability to work with people from diverse socioeconomic backgrounds ✔ Proficiency with Microsoft Office ✔ Ability to communicate clearly in both English and Spanish ✔ A valid Illinois driver's license and auto insurance Why Join TCSI?
