Role Overview The Housing Occupancy Specialist provides comprehensive client support for the Bridge Subsidy Initiative Program by managing caseloads, addressing client and landlord concerns (including crises), ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to prevent evictions and support housing stability. Job Responsibilities Provide direct service to clients by maintaining a caseload and responding to any inquires and providing general information regarding the Bridge Subsidy Initiative Program. Handle all client and Landlord complaints as well as crisis situations in consultation with his/her supervisory chain in conjunction with CCAC/programmatic policies and procedures and treat each case with sensitivity and expedience. Work in collaboration with the program manager to assist tenants at risk of eviction. Responsible for preparing correspondence, notifications, and internal paperwork for holds, reinstatements, and return of security deposits. Is knowledgeable in and understands program regulations and Housing CCAC policies in order to effectively resolve general tenant/landlord issues. Maintain up-to-date and accurate client files and databases, as required by CCAC/programmatic policies/procedures and external requirements of all relevant regulatory, licensing and accrediting bodies in the course of performing job expectations. Able to handle a wide array of administrative tasks to ensure compliance with CCAC and programmatic policies and procedures. Know and comply with related laws and regulations. Work collaboratively with outside vendors. Collaborate with internal stakeholders as needed. Engage in ongoing learning, training, and skill development, seeking and applying feedback to continuously improve performance and contribute to team and organizational success.

Essential functions include all other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Kneel and move from sitting, bending, kneeling, or standing multiple times a day Climb up and down up to 3 flights of stairs at a time Lift, push, and pull up to 25 lbs

Education and Experience Requirements:
Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field of study 1-3 years relevant experience Prior subsidized housing related experience. Must have good communication skills - verbal and written. Computer Proficiency (Microsoft Office-Word, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint). Must have great organizational skills. Preferred Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) in a related field of study 3-5 years relevant experience
Compensation:
$23.50 - $26.50 / hour
