Job Description

Our organization is seeking a dedicated professional to add to our team as a Vocational Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Professional (QIDP). Vocational programs provide assistance to individuals with developmental disabilities with gaining, retraining or improving self-help, socialization and adaptive skills in a non-residential setting, separate from the individual's private residence or other living arrangements.
Starting Range:
$50,000-$51,500 annually-Commensurate upon Certification and training Areas of responsibility for the Vocational QIDP include but not limited to: Develops implementation strategies and monitors progress. Supervises and provides training to the trainers on the implementation strategies. Ensures that services specified in the Personal Plan are being provided and are included in the Implementation Strategy. Maintains up to date individual case files in compliance with agency guidelines, in accordance with DHS-DD latest requirements. Trains staff on outcomes developed from the Implementation Strategy and retrain as needed. Maintain an open line of communication with ISCs/parents/guardians/CILAs and ensure quality services are being provided. Conducts daily visits to group areas to ensure quality services and plan implementation. Completes assessments for each individual as required/needed. Coordinates programs and community outings with trainers, providing suggestions and ensuring follow through. -Updates and distributes daily staff schedules and provides emergency coverage when necessary-
Requirements:
Must meet State educational requirements for QIDP (Bachelor's Degree in a Human Service related field) Must become an approved QIDP and DSP trainer with the State of Illinois Will be required to become PACE certified Must have valid driver's license and comply with company policy for driving vehicles Be willing to accept and respect supervision and assume responsibility for assigned work, follow established polices and procedures and follow instructions Excellent computer skills; Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments in a fast paced environment to meet deadlines with efficiency and accuracy
