Job Summary This position serves as the department administrator for the office of Undergraduate and Teacher Education. Department Specific Responsibilities Provides office management for the Office of Undergraduate and Teacher Education supports a number of functions including academic advising, recruitment and scholarships, accreditation and licensing, career connections, clinical experiences, transition to teaching, records and reporting, the INSPIRE Living Learning Center, Global Gateway for Teachers and Global and International Engagement offices). Assists the Executive Director and Associate Dean in processing graduate student and hourly employee appointment paperwork. Supervises front desk personnel and manages all hourly and work study appointments and schedules. Track and manages budgets for numerous offices within the suite, including travel. Manages all undergraduate student events by coordinating budgets, schedules and all event planning. Ensures events meet budget targets and event mission. Assists office with migration to cloud-based data management and retains project/office management documentation for the office. General Responsibilities Collaborates with team members to develop program objectives and create policies to meet them. Coordinates program operation with all collaborative units. Monitors progress and maintains all necessary data bases. Actively recruits program participants and researches new venues and methods of recruitment. May provide guidance to support and temporary staff and coordinates workflow for the program. Researches available grants and assists creating funding proposals that further advance support of the program. Writes grant reports. Administers program budgets. Qualifications Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.

Working Conditions / Demands This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
