  • Medical Education provides day-to-day operational and administrative coordination for the Internal Medicine Residency Training Program under the direction of the Program Director and System Manager of Medical Education.
This role serves as a key liaison among residents, faculty, attending physicians, university partners, students, and regulatory agencies. The Coordinator ensures program compliance with ACGME and institutional requirements while supporting educational activities across multiple clinical campuses. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to independently prioritize work in a dynamic academic medical environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate daily operations of the residency program, including scheduling, onboarding, evaluations, and educational activities Serve as primary administrative support to the Program Director and faculty Act as a liaison between residents, medical students, attending physicians, university stakeholders, and accrediting bodies Maintain accurate program records in compliance with ACGME, institutional, and regulatory requirements Support accreditation activities, including data tracking, reporting, and preparation for reviews or site visits Assist with resident recruitment, interviews, orientation, and graduation processes Collaborate across multiple campuses to ensure consistency in program operations Develop, maintain, and improve administrative processes to support program efficiency Handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
Education & Experience Required:
Bachelor's degree Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in program coordination, education administration, or service coordination
Preferred:
