In this dynamic role, you will create a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for children and youth after school hours. Your enthusiasm and dedication will inspire young people through our high quality, award-winning dramatic arts curriculum. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's development. Our program is offered to children ages 5-15

Duties:

Lead and supervise children of various ages during after school hours, ensuring safety and well-being at all times. Facilitate a variety of engaging theatre activities Manage classroom behavior using effective behavior management strategies to promote respect and cooperation Implement age-appropriate curriculum that supports childhood development Provide first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or behavioral issues Collaborate with parents to support each child's individual needs Maintain accurate attendance records, activity logs, and incident reports to ensure smooth program operations Be a facilitator of FUN!

Experience:

Prior experience working with children in settings such as daycare, camp, tutoring, babysitting, or youth programs is highly preferred Knowledge of classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies a plus Theatre experience a plus but not required. We will train. Certifications in first aid and CPR are a plus Experience in sports coaching, theater arts, or counseling can enhance your ability to connect with children creatively and compassionately Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with children of diverse backgrounds and abilities A background in childcare, teaching, or working with students will help you succeed in creating a positive program environment Join us as an After School Program Facilitator to empower children through engaging activities that foster growth and self-confidence!
