Program Manager - Mobile Response Team

Pay is commensurate with experience beginning at $78,000 annually. Full time, exempt, benefits eligible. Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Program Manager - Mobile Response Team will be to work closely with and lead the Program Manager of the Mobile Response team and lead and direct members of the Mobile Response Team in engaging clients and directing them through the delivery of crisis services in the community in the most efficient, effective and client centered manner. Our Mobile Response Team is an integral pillar of our organizational crisis services offered to the community which also include TRC and YRC. Building partnerships/relationships interdepartmentally and with external stakeholders alike be essential in this role. MRT services will include working with all aspects of responding to the community to assist with a client and their family in crisis and work to reduce (i.e., triage, assess, de-escalate, linkage to resources) acute behavioral health crisis from becoming emergencies. The intervention will focus on meeting the safety needs of the person experiencing the crisis. Specific duties include but not limited to: conducting supervision for the team to assure adherence to established principles and standards; conducting individual supervision as needed to target competency needs and to remove individual barriers to effective implementation of interventions; assuring through supervision and training of supervisees appropriate documentation of clinical assessments and interventions to meet a high standard of excellence and to meet all reporting and communication needs of funding and referral sources and to continue to meet fidelity standards for the Mobile Response Team; assisting in the hiring, training, and evaluation of team staff; assuring that all interactions meet the expected standard and are complete and include a thorough documentation of interactions, and a plan for the next steps in service delivery; participating in public information and public relations activities, serve as a community liaison and advocate for mental health and the Bert Nash Center; regular and predictable attendance at Bert Nash is an essential function of the job. participating in court and/or providing testimony as needed.

Qualifications:

The Program Manager position requires but not limited to: Master's Degree, Clinically Licensed preferred, in a human services related field with experience in interfacing with the public and clients who may be experiencing mental health symptoms. ability to intervene within or between systems in supporting client or larger community system. experience in providing group and individual supervision; strong diagnostic ability and knowledge base competencies; reliable transportation with a valid, unrestricted driver's license; strong interpersonal skills in working with diverse populations; flexibility in assigned working hours including evening and weekend hours; a commitment to interdisciplinary and community mental health center approaches; and an energetic and positive approach to the rapidly evolving changes and challenges of a complex work place.
