Job Description

About This Role The Academic Program Specialist serves in the College of Arts & Sciences Deans Office Center for Student Success & Engagement. The incumbent will be responsible for greeting students and visitors, academic and student correspondence, KSIS updates, student records, and supporting student events. This position will report to the Assistant Director I of Academic Student Services within the Student Success and Engagement Office. About Us The College of Arts & Sciences is home to 20 departments that span the arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and natural and quantitative sciences. An arts and sciences education prepare students for a lifetime of career success, professional responsibility, and personal fulfillment while enriching society. The college teaches critical thinking, promotes understanding of how the world works, and provides opportunities to imagine a better future.

Succeed Minimum Qualifications:
Requires a high school diploma and four years of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and two years of relevant experience. a. Two or more years experience in general office and administrative support work. b. The ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing including editing. c. Demonstrated experience in customer service. d. Demonstrated ability to be highly-organized and detail-oriented. e. Experience working on a computer and demonstrated ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint.) f. Ability to handle multiple priorities g. The ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
