Job Description

Description This is more than an academic leadership role — it is an opportunity to shape the next generation of technical professionals in one of the nation's most dynamic and essential industries. As Dean of Aviation at WSU Tech's National Center for Aviation Training (NCAT), you will provide strategic and operational leadership across eight FAA-certificated programs serving more than 500 students annually: Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT), Professional Pilot (PLT), Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS), Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), Sheetmetal Assembly (AER), Aviation Core (AVC), Composite Assembly (CFT), and Aerospace Coatings and Paint (ACP). We are seeking a highly organized, deadline-driven leader who thrives in a fast-paced, compliance-oriented environment. Whether your background is in student services, academic administration, workforce development, or a related technical field, your success in this role will be defined by your ability to lead people, manage complex operations, build meaningful partnerships, and deliver results — on time, every time. Aviation knowledge is valued but not required. What is non-negotiable is your commitment to operational excellence, your attention to detail, and your instinct to execute.
