We are seeking a compassionate and engaging Parent Education Facilitator to support and encourage families through evidence-based education and a trauma-informed approach. $20 / hour
Hours:
PRN / Variable - Evening availability required A Day in the
Life:
As a Parent Education Facilitator, you will play a crucial part in administering evidence-based parent education curriculums, fostering positive relationships with parents and children, and facilitating engaging and informative classes. You will prepare lesson plans and teach 1 or 2, 2 hour classes over an 9 week period. If you are enthusiastic about supporting families and empowering parents with valuable skills, we encourage you to apply.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in health, education, childcare or human services field required A minimum of one year of direct service experience with children, adolescents, and/or families is required Proficiency with current Microsoft Office Suite and related software Excellent oral and written communication skills Who We Are Home of the Innocents is one of Louisville's longest-serving non-profit organizations, approaching 150 years of service to children and families. Our Impact 3,976 children and families served in 2025 22-acre campus located near downtown Louisville Second largest Residential Treatment Program in Kentucky Only dedicated emergency shelter for children in the city 10 programs supporting children and families across a range of needs, including: Therapeutic and residential treatment for youth with complex behavioral and emotional needs Emergency shelter for children in crisis Foster care and adoption support Community-based behavioral health services Kosair for Kids Complex Care Center (KCC): Kentucky's only pediatric skilled nursing facility providing residential and respite care for children and young adults with complex medical needs.
