Elder Nutrition Program Director

Job Summary Responsible for activities involved in meal preparation and delivery, program compliance, contract compliance, coordination services with the senior centers/nutrition sites and the meal preparation provider. Must have reliable transportation for monitoring and site visits. Responsibilities Coordination of meal program for twenty (20) nutrition sites within the seventeen (17) county service area. Maintains full awareness of the Elder Nutrition programmatic goals and objectives. Responsible for oversight of services and activities for optimum accountability of the total program and monitor data input into the State approved database. Assists nutrition sites to ensure program compliance. Monitor nutrition program twice a year for program compliance and conduct on-site visits, as appropriate. Maintain strong working relationships with Trio Community Meals to assure compliance. Monitor records to determine whether meal routes and delivery times are according to schedule. Prepare training for nutritional staff on an annual basis. Prepare monthly reports. Oversee the Lexington Nutrition sites and assist with coverage, assessments, and re-assessments. Participate in quarterly menu planning meetings and provide feedback to the 20 nutrition sites. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Nutrition Science, Public Health, Social Work, or related field. Prefer a minimum of 3 years' experience in program management, preferably in aging services or nonprofit sector. Demonstrated history in staff supervision, fiscal management, and community partnership development. Knowledge of Title III B and C regulations and compliance requirements.

$41,600.00 - $52,000.00 per year
