We strive to empower our clients through personalized programs and compassionate care. Overview We are seeking a dynamic Program Specialist and Vocational Specialist to join our team! This energetic role involves developing, implementing, and overseeing vocational job coaching and community integration programs for individuals with diverse needs. You will play a pivotal role in fostering independence, enhancing skills, and promoting workforce development for those we serve. Responsibilities Design and coordinate vocational activities tailored to individual abilities and goals Assist clients with employment readiness, including resume building, interview preparation, and job placement Provide ongoing mentoring and support to promote personal growth and independence Collaborate with community partners to expand employment opportunities and workforce development initiatives Conduct assessments related to employment skills, developmental progress, and social integration managing and coordinating the delivery of home and community-based services to individuals with disabilities who qualify for waivers responsible for the development, implementation, and facilitation of waiver services for assigned individuals, ensuring provision of services as outlined in the service plan, which are responsive to individual needs. responsible for ensuring that individuals are productively engaged throughout the day in work or activities supporting socialization, independence, and the development of skills necessary for employment. This role oversees community career planning, community life engagement, day habilitation, pre-vocational, and job shadowing. Experience Proven experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism in a social work or vocational setting Background in job coaching or mental health support is highly desirable Demonstrated ability in teaching, training & development, mentoring, and recruiting Strong interviewing skills with the ability to assess individual needs effectively Experience in workforce development initiatives that promote community integration and independence Strong problem solving skills Associate degree (preferred) Join us in creating empowering opportunities that transform lives! Pay:
From $18.00 per hour
