Cardiovascular Ctr Excellence Job Summary/Basic Functions As an integral member of the Cardiovascular Center of Excellence, the Department Coordinator will provide administrative support to the Center Director, faculty, and business office. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: prepare correspondence; maintain the Center Director's calendar and schedule meetings; coordinate travel arrangements and handle all prior approval and reimbursement requests; prepare correspondence and reports using computer programs including, but not limited to, Excel, Word, and Power Point; handle purchasing and reimbursement requests; coordinate all aspects of seminar series, lectures, conferences, and other department events; provide support for pre- and post-award grant processes; assist with NIH biosketches, tracking expenditures, and progress reports. This position supports the mission and goals of the Cardiovascular Center of Excellence while assisting a dynamic team of scientists.
