Typing Full Job Description Schedule/Hours:
Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm This position is responsible for: Assists student residents in the Next Chapter Program with managing and completion of school requirements. Works with student residents to obtain appropriate, permanent housing. Orientate and supervise student residents of the New Chapter Program to ensure adherence to program policies and restrictions. Assist residents with adherence to their school requirements. Collaborates, organizes, and facilitates resident life skills workshops including financial literacy, time management, and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist residents to attain resources necessary to complete program and move to permanent housing. Inspect apartments and common areas for adherence to program guidelines of cleanliness. Maintain proper records and statistics for program. Communicate with appropriate educational institutions regarding the resident student. Physical Requirements and working
Conditions:
Ability to meet attendance requirements. Ability to read, write and communicate the English language. Ability to keypunch information into a computer. Duties are usually performed seated. Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing, lifting and carrying light objects (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Work if performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. Work involves driving a vehicle to special events and meetings where there may be physical discomforts associated with changes in weather such as rain, cold, snow, heat or discomforts associated with working in a warehouse during the Christmas Angel Tree program.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Associates degree from an accredited college or university AND two years experience working with college or upper high school students. OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience, which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
