Program Coordinator III Tulane University - 4.0 New Orleans, LA Job Details Full-time 16 hours ago Qualifications Research High school diploma or GED Office experience Full Job Description The position supports the New Orleans Book Festival leadership through a combination of program coordination, event management support, and external communications. writing and editing, program research, and high-level administrative and relationship support functions. The position serves as the initial point of contact for the office, supports additional duties related to the Book Festival, such as managing various administrative workflows and systems processes, and coordinates and schedules logistical arrangements.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
: High school diploma Four years of administrative office experience Any appropriate combination of relevant education, experience and/or certifications may be considered.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Previous event planning experience Previous experience working in an academic environment Experience working in Airtable, Drupal, Emma and similar systems Highly proficient in computer skills and excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc.) Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal, and resource management skills. Ability to manage complex calendars. Ability to interact effectively and courteously with individuals of diverse cultural backgrounds. Ability to work independently and meet established or anticipated deadlines. Ability to take on a wide range of duties and projects, and prioritize work appropriately. Ability to maintain confidentiality in all work performed.
