Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a thoughtful and experienced Program Lead - Day Supports to help design and lead the daytime program within Riverview Friends Together, a new and growing adult community program. This role is responsible for developing structured, engaging daytime programming that supports members in building practical skills for adult life, including daily living, communication, health and wellness, social development, and pathways toward employment and meaningful community participation. Working closely with the Director of Programs and other program leads, this individual will play a key role in shaping the day program model, including curriculum development, scheduling, and program structure. This is a hands-on leadership role in a startup environment, offering the opportunity to build a program from the ground up while working directly with members and staff. This role primarily operates during daytime hours, with some flexibility based on program needs, community-based activities, and seasonal variation. Responsibilities Design and oversee a structured schedule of daytime programming aligned with adult development and life skills Develop and implement curriculum across key areas such as daily living, communication, wellness, and self-determination Ensure programming is engaging, practical, and grounded in real-world application Facilitate or coordinate a portion of programming and support staff in delivering high-quality experiences Integrate real-world learning and community-based experiences into daily programming Support development of opportunities related to employment, volunteering, and community participation Lead seasonal planning of program schedules in collaboration with advising and program staff Ensure program offerings are accurately entered and maintained within the scheduling system to support member participation Monitor participation trends and adjust programming as needed Hire, supervise, and support program staff, ensuring strong team performance and consistency Support documentation practices related to service delivery and program requirements Build and maintain relationships with community partners to expand program opportunities Coordinate closely with advising and other program leads to ensure alignment across all aspects of the member experience Requirements Experience in adult services, day programs, or related fields supporting individuals with disabilities Experience developing or overseeing curriculum or structured programming Experience supervising staff or leading teams preferred Strong understanding of adult development, life skills, and person-centered practices Ability to design meaningful, real-world learning experiences Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Ability to work a consistent daytime schedule, with flexibility based on program needs Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for community-based programming Why Join Us Friends Together is a new and evolving program designed to support adults in building meaningful, connected lives beyond school. Pay:
$80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
