Job Description

NFI Massachusetts Inc., a non-profit human services agency, is currently seeking an Assistant Program Director for its Beverly Continuum Support program located in Beverly, MA. Beverly Continuum Supports (BCS) provides individualized and comprehensive residential services to male and female youth age 12-18 and their families. Youth referred to the program are in need of temporary out-of-home placement to address a range of emotional and behavioral issues. The program offers 24 hour staffing that provides support and supervision. The highly structured milieu provides a safe and predictable context in which youth can stabilize behaviors, progress in treatment and develop new skills. Staff members serve as teachers and coaches, developing practical supports and interventions for youth that are readily transferable to the home environment and can be easily understood and taught to families.
Starting salary:
$70,000
Essential Skills Include:
Program improvement. Training. Fiscal management. Administrative excellence. Incident response and investigation. Policy implementation. Problem Solving. Supervision and development of staff. Communication with families, funding and licensing representatives. Ability to support all agency initiatives and respond to multiple stakeholders are all part of the job.
Job Requirements:
Qualified candidates will possess a bachelor's degree in a related field and/or one to two years of supervisory experience working with similar population. Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle is a must. Schedule requires a level of flexibility.
