What You'll Do:
The Program Director provides clinical and operational leadership for the DDS/DMH Intensive Community Wraparound Supports program, ensuring high‑quality, person‑centered care and regulatory compliance. Program Management & Leadership Oversee daily operations and service delivery of the wraparound program Supervise, train, and support staff, including performance evaluations and professional development Recruit, hire, and onboard program staff Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, licensing requirements, and agency policies Monitor program expenditures and maintain fiscal responsibility within contract allocations Facilitate referrals, enrollments, and discharges in accordance with regulations Oversee assessments, treatment planning, and discharge planning processes Ensure high standards of care with a focus on health, safety, and risk management Oversee clinical documentation systems and service note accuracy Collaborate with referral sources, families, and community providers Participate in on‑call rotation as assigned Ensure proper implementation of MAP (Medication Administration Program) policies Recovery-Oriented Care Promote recovery principles that support independence, wellness, and self‑determination Empower persons served to actively participate in treatment planning and decision-making Foster a culture of hope, skill-building, and goal achievement Ensure use of evidence-based practices and quality improvement initiatives Positive Behavior Supports (PBS) Develop, implement, and oversee behavioral support plans Train and mentor staff in PBS strategies and interventions Provide clinical supervision and guidance during crisis situations Monitor and evaluate targeted and intensive behavioral support plans Anticipate and manage clinical risk, ensuring appropriate interventions Coordinate psychiatric admissions and higher levels of care when needed Participate in Universal, Targeted, and Intensive Support meetings Participate in Human Rights and Risk meetings as required
What You Bring:
Education & Licensure:
Licensed Mental Health Professional (LMHC, LICSW, or higher) required Licensed in
Massachusetts Experience:
Minimum of 5 years of experience working with individuals with autism and/or severe mental illness Expertise in Positive Behavior Supports required Strong leadership and supervisory experience preferred
Skills & Qualifications:
Ability to work independently with a high level of clinical and operational competence Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Ability to collaborate with families, providers, and funding agencies Strong documentation, organizational, and critical thinking skills Proficiency with electronic health records and basic computer systems
