6 Email a Friend Save Posting Description PROGRAM COORDINATOR, Laboratory for Nuclear Science - AI+Science Initiative, will coordinate and perform operational and administrative activities for the MIT AI+Science Initiative within the School of Science, including administration, finance, communications, outreach, and other functions; and provide advanced administrative support for the Director of the initiative. REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of two years of project/program management experience; excellent organizational, interpersonal, collaboration, and project management skills; demonstrated experience in designing and implementing high-quality activities, programs and services; ability to establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with others, while also working autonomously; ability to troubleshoot problems and respond to inquiries and requests related to the work area in a timely manner; excellent knowledge of MS Office and other office software; strong written and verbal communication skills; professional attitude, maturity, and strong customer service skills; must be able to use judgment, and recognize the need for a high level of confidentiality; and impeccable attention to detail and follow-through on tasks. This is a two-year term, part-time position at 20 hours per week (50% effort). Accordingly, the annual salary range is $32,000 to $39,600 which corresponds to a full-time equivalent salary range of $62,000 to $79,200. 6/9/2026
