Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
Job Description:
Provide technical assistance to marinas. Respond to facilities that have expressed interest in or applied for CVA grant funds to field questions related to the installation, repair and/or operation of sewage disposal equipment and/or for the Clean Marina Program. Provide support for boating educational programs. Work proactively with UF/Sea Grant CVA Education Coordinator, local stakeholder groups, other agencies, and non-profits to develop coordinated efforts for boater outreach. Provide data collection support for maintaining both the Pumpout Nav app and the state pumpout inventory for the No Discharge Zone initiative.
Expected Salary:
$46,000
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area; or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience. This position is TEAMS. Normal work week is 40 hours. At least one day per week should be spent in the agreed upon office location. Some evening/weekend work may be required. Regular travel (by car) is required. Valid Florida driver's license required.
Preferred:
Familiarity with marinas and boating. Experience conducting informal education or outreach. Special Instructions to
