Clarificion from the agency Open to current members of the Massachusetts Air Nional Guard (MAANG) and those eligible to transfer to the Massachusetts Air Nional Guard. Nional Guard Membership IS required for this announcement. Duties Help 1. Oversees Group Training Programs and Subordine Unit Compliance. This position serves as the Group Unit Training Manager (UTM) and operes under the direction of the Force Support Squadron (FSS) - Force Development Office (FDO). The incumbent acts as the primary advisor to the Group Commander /A-Staff Director on training policy and execution across subordine units. They lead the planning, development, and evaluion of group-wide educion and training initiives, establishing a cohesive training stregy and ensuring compliance through coordinion with subordine or assigned Unit Training Managers (UTMs). The incumbent provides policy interpretion, as directed through the FDO, from Headquarters (HQ) and Major Command (MAJCOM) levels, ensuring the seamless integrion of these policies into all unit-level training programs. (35%) 2. Coordines Career Development Course (CDC) and Upgrade Training Oversight. Valides and tracks all CDC actions, waiver requests, and reenrollments from subordine units. Provides guidance and quality assurance of CDC administrion across the assigned organizions. Oversees Upgrade Training (UGT) stus and ensures timely compliance with 36-month reviews and training documention. Acts as liaison between units and Force Support Squadron (FSS), Force Development (FDO) for CDC failures and Wing Commander actions. (20%) 3. Conducts Staff Assistance Visits (SAVs) and Evalues Unit Training Programs. Leads SAVs each unit within the assigned organizions every 36 to assess compliance and readiness. Documents findings identifies training shortfalls and provides written feedback to commanders. Tracks corrective actions and provides consultion on policy implemention. Consolides and briefs Group Commander or Director on Training Performance Metrics (TPMs) monthly. (20%) 4. Manages Formal Schools and Distance Learning Integrion. Coordines all formal school allocions and tendance, including 7-level and PME quotas. Ensures prerequisite validion and communices requirements to UTMs. Oversees Distributed Learning programs and equipment management. Tracks course merial security and scheduling. (15%) 5. Supports Commander-Level Board Processes and Force Development Initiives. Manages the Professional Development Board submissions. Reviews nominions, prepares selection recommendions, and assists in the preparion of board packages. Advises applicants and consolides recommendions for Group Commander or Director action. GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Must have experience demonstring the ability to follow directions, read, understand, and retain instructions, regulions, and procedures th otherwise valide the ability to perform or learn to perform the duties of the position.
SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE
Must have least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to least the next lower grade. Knowledge of Army or Air Force educion and training programs regarding their principles and procedures. Experience in performing interviews and counseling techniques; training techniques and instruction methods; task analysis procedures, learning processes, curriculum development, training evaluions, and educion and training systems and products; effective writing skills; editing practices; instructional media applicion, training reporting, program and curriculum validion, and implemention procedures. Experience in scheduling training events and facilities; supporting assistance s and training meetings; or assisting in work center and individual job qualificion standard development; educion institution registrion requirements; and military personnel classificion system and policies. Experience in the capabilities of communicive interpersonal skill applicions and distance learning concepts. Experience as a participant and presenter during training and military or civilian conference events.
PART-TIME OR UNPAID EXPERIENCE
: Credit given for approprie unpaid and or part-time work. You must clearly identify the duties and responsibilities in each position held and the total number of months/years.
