Job Description

Description The Program & Engagement Associate (THIS
POSITION
) and the Program & Communication Associate (A
DIFFERENT POSITION
  • but also hiring if interested) roles at BINA, support various administrative aspects of participant and volunteer onboarding and administrative needs. This ensures our seamless delivery of services and support. All Program Associates, regardless of their "specialty
  • communications or engagement" also support a variety of areas.
Depending on what their prior experience is, they could support development/engagement, communications, social media, marketing and or direct program and volunteer support initiatives. Reporting to either the Program Manager or Engagement Manager (pending on specific role), these positions play a key part in fostering positive relationships with participants, families, and volunteers while ensuring operational efficiency. The Program Associates positions are full-time exempt hourly positions. See the schedule in the requirement section below.
Program and Volunteer Administration:
approximately 50-75% of the position Under the direction of the Program Manager and Engagement Manager, respond to program and volunteer inquiries, general information, development questions, etc. via phone and email, providing information about BINA's programs and mission and next steps for all inquiries Serve as an initial contact for participants and families and volunteers, maintaining positive and professional relationships Facilitating onboarding for new participants and volunteers, including paperwork review, medical clearance, and program placement Maintaining participant and volunteer records, ensuring all paperwork is current, complete, and compliant with policies Assist with managing administrative aspects for program schedules, including updates and changes, and keeping BINA's team informed of absences etc. Utilize CRM systems (e.g., Better Impact, EquiForce, SharePoint) to manage participant and volunteer and program data Be trained to support a lesson as a side walker

  • but this position is Engagement, and those areas are bolded below): Engagement/Special Events/Fundraising Work on all aspects of engagement projects and special events Donor database: making new entries, updating and maintaining Outreach Solicitation for fundraising events Engagement Programs Oversight Teen Ambassador Program
  • in collaboration with the parent co-chairs Communications and Messaging Responsibilities include maintaining messaging consistency through all BINA-based platforms and marketing tools for all departments. Social Media/Marketing/PR for all departments Website updates Newsletters Marketing materials
  • including flyers, signage, etc. Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc. Requirements IDEAL
  • but if this schedule doesn't work, we are open to discussion: Ability to work either a Tuesday-Saturday or Sunday-Thursday schedule and work some days a 9am-5:30pm and some days a 10:30am-7pm, as the program associate team ensures coverage of the Community Center.
If you can only do a Monday-Friday position, then flexibility for any weekend events (thus those weeks, schedule alters) Must be available to work at the Horsing Around at the Mandarin gala on Saturday, November 14, 2026. Must be available to work at the Boots & Bandana Shindig event on Saturday, May 16, 2026. Embrace and represent the mission of BINA Farm Center Bachelor's degree and/or 3+ years relevant experience in a nonprofit development office Legally able to work in the United States Excellent written and verbal communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills Social media/marketing experience for those interested in Communications job. Interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with community and other key contacts. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Office, Canva Experience in CRM/Data Systems
  • we use Better Impact, Equi-Force (Sales Force) and Microsoft SharePoint system.
All are easy to use if you have data experience. Canva and other marketing tools. Being highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to prioritize multiple assignments and deliver quality results on time Being able to work independently on site (not remote) Being a good team player and maintaining positive office moral Attend staff meetings Maintaining a valid driver's license and having access to an operational and insured vehicle
