Director of FRC Job Summary:
The FRC Program Coordinator at Martha's Vineyard Community Services (MVCS) plays a vital role in supporting families and running the Family Resource Center. Working under the guidance of the FRC Program Director, the Coordinator oversees daily operations, ensures families have access to essential services, and builds partnerships with local providers. This role also includes supporting our dedicated team, including the School Liaison, Family Support Worker, Family Partner, and FRC Clinician on programming. Evenings and weekends are part of the schedule for programs, reflecting our commitment to meeting families where they are. Job Responsibilities and Essential Functions (essential functions
  • ): Program Management of the Family Resource Center (FRC)
  • Provides oversight to the FRC and serves as the contact for program services and community outreach Serves as the FRC Volunteer Coordinator Provides administrative oversight to the FRC School Liaison as it relates to programming
  • Assists Individuals and families with information and referrals as needed Collects data for all programming and essential duties and completes necessary DCF Monthly reports as requested by the Program Director Attends meetings with the Family Center Coordinator and works in partnership with said Coordinator when prudent and/or necessary.
Responsible for all FRC Programming Oversight of all FRC staff as it relates to training for programming needs Plans, implements and facilitates all Evidence Based Programming for the FRC as well as oversight of all other programming as outlined in the FRC Contract
  • Serves as the Community Liaison to the Vineyard Community at large on behalf of MVCS and the MV FRC
  • Is actively engaged within the Vineyard Non-profit community and acts as a liaison for the agency and the FRC
  • Works in collaboration with the MV Youth Task Force to provide ongoing youth and adult prevention programming for the community Is an active member of the MVSUD and participates on sub-committees as needed that are relevant to the work of MVCS and the MV FRC Other Responsibilities Facilitate a sustainable Parent Advisory Committee for the FRC
  • Oversees all FRC Volunteers Serves on a (minimum) of two initiatives of the MVCS Quality Management Team annually
  • Qualifications Experience working in social services and/or mental health.
Experience in community organizing preferred. Proficiency in word processing and excel. High level of communication, organizational and leadership skills.
