Technical Requirements:
The Contractor provides specialized support across OITE's core activities, including: Planning, developing, and delivering educational programs in collaboration with OITE staff, including curriculum design, speaker coordination, and event execution Supporting major OITE events (e.g., poster days, workshops, symposia) Preparing reports, analyzing participation data, and compiling feedback upon request Maintaining trainee and staff records Executing IRTA appointment and maintenance actions in the Fellow Personnel System (FPS) Coordinating with Administrative Officers to obtain required approvals Providing travel and logistical support, including GovTrip coordination and documentation
Specific Qualifications:
All support positions require a minimum of a B.A. or B.S. degree. BS required; PhD preferred; biomedical workforce experience required Able to effectively communicate, verbally and in writing. Will require knowledge of relevant NIH policies and award terms and conditions. Understanding of NIH, its organization, and culture preferred. Knowledge of NIH organizational travel (CGE) and personnel (FPS) systems is highly desired. Skills Strong organizational skills with accuracy and attention to detail. Must be extremely reliable and adaptable with strong time-management skills; ability to prioritize and handle multiple responsibilities with minimum supervision. Demonstrates good judgment, particularly when managing confidential information. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to be professional, clear, and accurate both verbally and in writing Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
