Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY
The PRP Coordinator is responsible for the operational oversight of the Psychiatric Rehabilitation Program (PRP). This role ensures service delivery aligns with COMAR 10.63.03, Medicaid requirements, and Bridges Wellness Group policies. The PRP Coordinator supervises Rehabilitation Specialists and ensures staffing ratios, documentation standards, medication support practices, and participant services remain compliant, recovery-oriented, and person-centered.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Program Oversight- Ensure PRP staffing ratios meet or exceed the minimum standard of one (1) FTE per twenty (20) active participants.
- Monitor census, participant engagement, and service intensity.
- Ensure services remain psychiatric rehabilitation and within scope of practice.
- Oversee medication support processes consistent with Med Tech certification standards. Supervision
- Provide direct supervision to PRP Rehabilitation Specialists.
- Ensure all supervised staff maintain required certifications.
- Conduct performance evaluations and competency assessments.
- Address performance concerns and implement corrective actions. Documentation and Compliance
- Review and audit clinical documentation for accuracy and timeliness.
- Ensure rehabilitation plans reflect measurable, recovery-oriented goals.
- Maintain compliance with COMAR 10.63.03 and Medicaid billing requirements.
- Participate in internal audits and regulatory reviews. Quality and Performance Management
- Monitor service delivery metrics.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives.
- Report program performance and compliance status to the Program Manager.
EDUCATION
Required:
- Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services, Public Health, or related field OR
- Equivalent combination of education and directly related professional experience calculated as two (2) years of behavioral health experience for each year of required college education.
REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS
(MANDATORY) The following certifications must be current and maintained as a condition of employment:- CPR Certification
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- OSHA Safety Certification
- Medication Technician (Med Tech) Certification
- Community Support Worker (CSW) or Community Health Worker (CHW) Certification Failure to maintain required certifications may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination.
QUALIFICATIONS
Required:
- Minimum three (3) years of experience in behavioral health or psychiatric rehabilitation.
- Supervisory or leadership experience.
- Knowledge of psychiatric rehabilitation principles and documentation standards.
- Strong organizational and compliance oversight skills.
Preferred:
- Experience in PRP settings.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
