Through our Extended Learning Programs, we provide students with additional opportunities to strengthen academic achievement, develop leadership skills, explore STEM fields, participate in enrichment activities, and prepare for college and career success. Position Summary:
The Extended Learning Program Coordinator is a CLF employee assigned to a school and serves as the primary organizer and manager of all extended learning opportunities at that campus. The Coordinator reports to the Principal for day-to-day operations and is directly supervised by the school Principal, while the CLF designee serves as the general supervisor of the program implementation. Working in collaboration with the school and CLF designee, the Coordinator manages clubs, tutoring, Saturday programs, and boot camps; recruits sponsors, tutors, and volunteers; maintains records and reporting; and builds family and community partnerships. What You'll Do:
Program Development Develop annual Extended Learning Program plans Coordinate recruitment of sponsors, tutors, and volunteers Support the creation of new programs based on student interests and school needs Promote student participation Program Management Manage all after-school clubs Coordinate tutoring programs Coordinate Saturday School programs Coordinate boot camps and special events Maintain program schedules and calendars Student Recruitment and Participation Coordinate student registration and enrollment Maintain student rosters Monitor participation rates Promote equitable access to programs Data and Reporting Maintain attendance records Monitor program participation Track outcomes and performance indicators Submit monthly and annual reports Family and Community Engagement Communicate opportunities to families Support community partnerships Coordinate volunteers and external organizations Compliance and Safety Ensure all programs follow school and CLF procedures Maintain required documentation Support student supervision and safety procedures Programs You'll Oversee:

Student Government Association, National Honor Society, peer leadership, and community service Enrichment:
arts, debate, creative writing, environmental programs, cultural organizations, and student interest clubs Boot Camps & Special Programs:
MCAP and PSAT/SAT
boot camps, STEM camps, college readiness, and summer enrichment Qualifications:
Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent, with relevant experience and teaching experience Experience coordinating student programs, events, or activities, preferably in a K-12 setting Strong organizational, project-management, and record-keeping skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and maintain partnerships with families, staff, and community organizations Availability to work the 12:00 PM - 6:30 PM schedule plus Saturdays Ability to pass required background checks and meet Maryland/district employment requirements Preferred Familiarity with STEM competitions and programs (e.g., robotics, Science Olympiad, TSA) Experience with tutoring, intervention, or test-preparation programs Experience with community engagement, partnerships, or volunteer coordination Bilingual ability to support CLF's diverse families Schedule & Work Conditions:
Weekdays:
Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM, with a 30-minute unpaid lunch Saturdays:
