Job Description

Who We're Looking For Quantum Space is redefining mobility and maneuverability in space. Our high-mobility spacecraft platforms support national security, civil, and commercial missions with unmatched flexibility and propulsion capability. We build fast and iterate quickly. \ We are seeking a Mission Manager to lead technical, schedule, and cost for a dedicated space project supporting national security missions. This role is responsible for driving cross-functional delivery across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, integration, and test, ensuring mission readiness from early development through launch and commissioning. Where You'll Make an Impact Own technical, schedule, and cost performance for a single spacecraft mission or program. Lead cross-functional teams to deliver flight hardware and mission capabilities on aggressive timelines. Develop and maintain integrated project plans, milestones, and delivery commitments. Identify program risks, dependencies, and resource constraints, and implement mitigation strategies. Support customer engagements, technical reviews, and internal program reporting. Enable execution discipline while operating in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. What It Takes Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline. 8-12 years of project or program management experience on space missions. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams delivering hardware-intensive programs. Strong experience managing schedules, budgets, and execution trade-offs. Ability to operate effectively in a mission-driven, high-accountability environment. Nice-to-Have Experience Experience supporting rapid development, prototyping, or non-traditional acquisition environments. Familiarity with mission assurance, integration, and test execution. Active U.S. security clearance or eligibility to obtain one. What You'll Get Leadership - Own execution for a high-visibility national security mission.
