Community Response Program Manager Safe Voices Domestic Violence Resource Center is seeking an experienced, dynamic and engaging individual to fill the full-time role of Community Response Program Manager. The Community Response Program Manager is responsible for providing direct supervision and support to all systems advocacy staff as well as program management and coordination of all Systems Advocacy Services in Androscoggin, Oxford, and Franklin County. As assigned, the Program Manager will be responsible for writing grants to ensure continuation and/or expansion of all services. Additionally, the Program Manager oversees the Certified Domestic Violence Intervention Program, ensuring the program is in compliance with all standards and regulations.
Primary Duties:
Provide direct supervision to specialized systems staff, including training and monitoring of new policies and procedures Daily program management, coordinate and monitor day to day specialized systems and CDVIP tasks and participate in program development and new initiatives Ensure all educational awareness work is mission focused and conducted according to best practice standards and are in compliance with agency policies, Maine Coalition Against Domestic Abuse, VAWA, and CDC guidelines. Collaborate with all appropriate Safe Voices staff in the oversight and facilitation of High Risk Response Meetings, Multidisciplinary Team Meetings, Certified Domestic Violence Intervention program, and Coordinated Community Response meetings Oversee development and management of violence intervention programing Coordinate, organize and help facilitate all new advocacy trainings Serve as backup or co-facilitator as needed for community and schools based trainings and violence intervention programming Actively participate in grant writing and research of proposals and complete accurate grant reporting and program billing Build and maintain relationships with community partners and partner agencies Provide Director on Backup Helpline and Shelter on call assistance as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Pass required background checks Knowledge of crisis intervention skills or techniques Ability to remain calm and effective in a fast paced environment where safety is key Hold valid Maine driver's license, reliable transportation and willingness to travel on occasion Ability to think outside of the box and be open minded Excellent written and oral communication skills Demonstrate sensitivity to, and understanding of the cultural and socioeconomic status of persons served
Preferred Qualifications:
Two years of prior supervisory experience and/or shelter coordination Bachelor's degree is social services or related field
Pay & Benefits:
Pay starts at $61,054.50 based on experience Health, dental, vision, life, and short & long-term disability insurance are 100% covered at no cost to employees.
