All US Citizens. (Veterans' Preference will Apply) Duties Help This position serves as the implementer of the Integred Primary Prevention (IPP) Program. Due to the specialty nure of these roles this position reports to the Joint Force Headquarter Primary Prevention Officer. The primary purpose of this position is to implement and support integred prevention programs. It collaborively identifies, implements, and assesses public health-informed and evidence-based prevention policy, practices, programs and processes. Supports healthy clime/culture to elimine harassment, sexual violence, family violence and self-directed harm using a public health perspective and socio-ecological theoretical lens. This involves an integred, multi-agency, and collaborive approach with other MSC/Regions, Joint Force Headquarters (JFHQ), and local programs with a nexus to integred primary prevention (IPP) efforts.MAJOR DUTIES
1. Serves as the point of contact for harm and abuse prevention programs and activities; provides program coordinion and serves as the subject mter expert for the MSC/Region IPP program. Serves as the Primary Prevention Integror (PPI) managing all aspects of a complex integred primary prevention program (P3) for the MSC/Region. Serves as the MSC/Region point of contact for the suicide prevention program, workplace and domestic violence programs in a non-clinical primary prevention, here after referred to as prevention, role in coordinion with applicable offices and community agencies. Delivers initial prevention activities, averting harm or abuse before it occurs. Identifies risk and protective factors th lead to or protect against unhealthy or unsafe behaviors. Promotes actions to mitige environmental factors. Examines and interprets populion da from the MSC/Region. Interprets S/T/DC policies and guidance to develop MSC/Region specific policy, plans, objectives and guidance for the operion of local P3. Coordines the implemention and coordinion of all such activities a local level. Provides professional advisory services and training to MSC/Region Service Members and community agencies concerning available or ongoing violence-reled prevention efforts. Utilizes effective presention and facilition skills, provides accure and approprie technical assistance tailored to specific audiences, and communices the complexities of prevention issues to stakeholders and the public. 2. Supports inter- and intra-personal violence prevention efforts and programming through the MSC/regional leadership advisory committees, boards and working groups.
GENERAL EXPERIENCE
Experience in overall management, guidance, development, implemention and maintenance of Social Programs.SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE GS-09
- 1 year specialized experience, educion or training equivalent to least the next lower grade level analyzing problems, identifying significant factors, ghering pertinent da and recognizing solutions; preparing reports, plans, policies and various correspondence; evaluing objectives and develop plans to facilite the availability and effective utilizion of various social science resources.

Educion Degree:
behavioral or social science; or reled disciplines approprie to the position th included least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. OR Combinion of educion and experience th provided the applicant with knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field th included least 24 semester hours of course work in the behavioral or social sciences. OR Four years of approprie experience th demonstred th the applicant has acquired knowledge of one or more of the behavioral or social sciences equivalent to a major in the field.
