This vital role involves managing compliance, coordinating with property management teams, and ensuring adherence to federal, state, and local regulations related to affordable housing. The LIHTC Coordinator will serve as a key resource for tenants, and internal staff, facilitating smooth operations and fostering positive relationships. Responsibilities Manage the application process for LIHTC units, including eligibility verification and documentation review Ensure compliance with LIHTC regulations, Fair Housing laws, Section 8 guidelines, and other relevant policies Conduct tenant interviews utilizing motivational interviewing techniques to assess needs and support housing stability Coordinate with tenants and applicants using PHA-Web software to track occupancy and compliance data Experience Proven experience working within LIHTC programs or affordable housing initiatives. Strong knowledge of HOTMA, Fair Housing regulations, Section 8 programs, and property management practices. Demonstrated ability in negotiation and conflict resolution. Familiarity with property management software PHA-Web is highly preferred. Background in social work, or related fields is advantageous. Pay:
$19.50 - $24.00 per hour
